Chef Nikki grew up in a large family with great home cooks and professional chefs. Cooking and baking has always come natural for her. Growing up in New York, afforded Chef Nikki opportunities to taste various cuisines from different cultures. This had a major influence on the selection of her career.

As an artist, she enjoys using food as a creative medium, experimenting with multiple flavors and combinations, textures and developing recipes. Chef Nikki is a culinary educator and lifetime culinary student. Her background has fashioned the chef she is today.

While co-owner of Twisted Sisters bakeshop and juice bar in Atlanta, GA, Chef Nikki was featured on The Cooking Channel’s “Cake Hunters”. Chef Nikki creates seasonal desserts and custom cakes. She is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Atlanta Patisserie and Baking Certificate Program.

Sweet Teez Bakery, a dream turned idea that blossomed into a delicious cupcake, was started by local mom Teresa Maynard in Dorchester, MA in 2016. Teresa is the head baker and decorator at Sweet Teez Bakery. Her chocolate desserts won “Best Chocolate Dessert” at the 2017 New England Dessert Showcase. She is in the process of scaling her business into the wholesale market.

Baking has always been Steven’s passion since he was a kid. As the oldest of three children, the Philadelphia native used baking to satisfy an insane sweet tooth and to make his family happy. His love for culinary was influenced by his grandmother, other family members and countless Saturday afternoons watching PBS cooking shows.

He began baking at home, rejecting box cake mixes and studying the art of true and authentic baking. Pretty soon, Steven became known throughout his West Philadelphia neighborhood for his cupcakes, muffins, and cookies. “I learned a legit hustle” he adds, which eventually led to baking birthday cakes and baby shower cakes. After graduating Overbrook High School, Steven attended and graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor Degree in Journalism and Communications. He was accepted at the renowned Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, with a focus on becoming a Pastry Chef.

“My journey has never been conventional” he laughs. Steven relocated to Phoenix, Arizona and took a position at an Urban Tea Loft as an assistant pastry chef. Soon after, he found clientele clamoring to pay for his delicious and scrumptious baked delights. Steven relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to reunite with his family. While in Atlanta, he created SRTMEDIA, a forward thinking public relations company offering services to entertainment and culinary clients. However, baking is still his passion and continues to bake weekly. “My trusty Kitchen Aid Mixer is used frequently,” says Steven.

After one year of residing in Atlanta, he returned to Phoenix in 2016 and is currently in the development stages of debuting his new baking blog “Gimme Some Sugar.” The blog will feature humor, baking tips, Steven’s most requested and new baking recipes interwoven with personal stories. Look for “Gimme Some Sugar” winter 2017.

Chef Marcus’ task is to take some of his favorite dishes and with creativity, dedication and love, transform them into vegan-friendly meals!. He has compiled some of his “vegan madness” secrets in “The Global Vegan” collection. He will be launching his own vegan cooking show on YouTube mid January 2017.
